On Friday, January 27th, CRSD hosted its second annual Teachers Teaching Teachers Expo. With over 110 presenters and 89 sessions to choose from, the day was filled with new learning experiences for all! We are so proud of the amazing teachers we have in our district and their willingness to share their talents with their peers. Check out more pictures from this event on the CRSD website.
Caesar Rodney High School held two evening events welcoming future CR freshman students. Tables were set up in the cafeteria with teacher and student representatives from the core content areas, ROTC, CTE, PE/Health, sports, clubs, electives and much more! It was a packed house both nights with over 450 students already registered for the 2017-2018 school year! How exciting! Students at McIlvaine Early Childhood Center taught our School Board members and Superintendent how to code as part of their school's Board presentation on STEM activities in kindergarten! Two Postlethwait students are all smiles after winning the Youth Sculpture Contest sponsored by the Delaware Federation of Gardening Club. Their Earth-friendly sculptures were created from recycled materials and both won first place in their grades.
Mrs. Sherri Bole, Social Studies teacher at Postlethwait Middle School, was just named “Delaware Geography Teacher of the Year” by the Delaware Geographic Alliance.
